1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using RaceArchitect, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these General Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Service Description

RaceArchitect is a web-based platform for running coaches and athletes. It provides tools for creating training plans, tracking performance, analysing race results and communicating between coaches and athletes.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • One person may hold only one account unless expressly authorised otherwise.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Upload content that is infringing, defamatory, harmful or offensive.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or derive the source code of the platform.

5. Health Disclaimer

Training plans, pace recommendations and VDOT calculations provided by RaceArchitect are based on established running methodology and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified physician before starting or modifying a training programme, especially if you have a medical condition.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design and content of the RaceArchitect platform is the exclusive property of its operators. You may not copy, redistribute or create derivative works without prior written permission. Training content you create (trainings, schemas, race goals) remains your property; you grant RaceArchitect a licence to store and display it for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, RaceArchitect and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to injury, loss of data or loss of revenue. The service is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced where possible. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these General Conditions.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these conditions. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Statement.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These General Conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium. As a consumer in the EU, you also have access to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to These Conditions

We may update these General Conditions. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
